As professionals we need to keep up with the latest research informing changes in education nationally and internationally. But, we also need to be reading credible literature with a substantive research base.
Meeting the needs of students with disability and additional learning needs
The online training courses are to support all Department classroom teachers in both primary and high school and other educational personnel in responding to the diverse additional needs of students.
This Primary education website provides K-6 teachers with current information to support quality curriculum implementation, including newsletters, resources and professional learning. The website contains specific information for each of the Key Learning Areas as well as other support that applies across the curriculum, including support for Literacy and Numeracy.
The Languages team at the Learning and Leadership Directorate (part of the NSW Public Schools Portfolio) has officers to support both primary and secondary languages teachers.
